Umrah is the beautiful Sunnah of our beloved Holy Prophet ﷺ. Umrah can be performed in any month of the year expects five days of Hajj (9th Zil Haj to 13th Zil Haj), Umrah is not permissible in these days.

Umrah is starts with wearing Ahram, do tawaf. After tawaf next step is sa’ee and when done with sa’ee, men have to shave their head and women have to trim their hairs. After fulfilling that condition pilgrim will be able to put off Ahram and umrah is completed.

Umrah has significance importance in Islam.  Allah say in Quran about these person who is not perform Hajj and Umrah. “In it are clear signs [such as] the standing place of Abraham. And whoever enters it shall be safe. And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House – for whoever is able to find there to a way. But whoever disbelieves – then indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds.” (Surat ‘Āli `Imrān).

Our beloved Holy prophet also emphasize on the importance of Hajj and Umrah. Hazraat Abdullah Abn-e- Masood (RA) was narrated that the Holy Prophet (SAW) said that you perform Hajj and Umrah again and again because poverty or poorness does not come close from the Muslim who perform Hajj and Umrah also purifies from the sins. The Hajj and Umrah  purifies the Muslim as a gold smith purifies the gold from iron and sliver. And The Hajj-e-Mabro reward is only Jannat. (Tirmidhi). Another hadith in Ibn-e-Majah quoted that The Holy Prophet (S.A.W) says ‘A person who circumambulate the House of Allah and do perform two rakaat of prayer, would take reward is equal to freeing a slave.
